Seller claims it happened during shipping, which is possible, but was unwilling to work with me on any resolution when I asked for a slight refund. In my past experience, sellers have been agreeable to solutions that work for both parties in this type of situation. The item was sent in a box and we'll padded, and the feet were unbroken before packing. If there was damage to the box, it's a USPS issue. If the buyer would have notified me much sooner, I absolutely would have given a partial refund. The buyer said the reason it took so long to message was, " I had to put it on a shelf and wasn't able to get to it to clean and inspect until today".
