The UR22MKII solved my latency problem
The greatest problem I have found with using Steinberg software is finding drivers for hardware items that do not include so much latency. But the driver for this unit let me drop the sampling rate until the latency was gone. Two mic or guitar channels IN (and two OUT) and MIDI channels IN and OUT allowed me to connect my mixer and my MIDI patch board -- and that was all I needed. The only thing it needs is more amplification in the ear phone jack. But a $20 ear phone amp fixed that. I'm running a desktop with an Intel i7 Core 3770K CPU, 32 Gb RAM with Windows 10 (64 bit).The greatest problem I have found with using Steinberg software is finding drivers for hardware items that do not include so much latency. Audio and Midi for Windows and Linux
I was looking for an audio and midi interface that works on Windows 10 and Linux (Ubuntu 20.04) In Linux it worked without installing anything. It configured itself after connecting usb. In Windows, the driver in Cd made it work in minutes. Pristine clear sound and Solid midi transmission!!! Good investment. Very satisfied!
