    "Kit" is only half of what you need to complete

    Make sure you have the tools to assemble already, know someone who does, or know that you will have other uses for them after buying. This is a great product but there is no reduced cost once you factor in the $50+ you will have to spend on tools necessary to assemble. You could buy one already assembled that will look better, sound better, and cost less. It's fun to build, but you need to be aware of what you are buying.

    It's fun little project

    Super simple kit to build was fun project but doesn't have a good sound just sounds like your playing on a wooden box snare wires are pretty much useless doesn't work no matter how tight or loose your leave them I tried to manipulate wires a bit to get them to lay differently but they sound horrible but it is nice to have better than air drumming lol

    Gave this cajon kit to my daughter for a gift. Enjoyed assembling it with her and she is so proud of the result. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The materials went together well and the result is an attractive and good-sounding drum.
