I purchased all three of Greg Cox ' s books about Kahn Noonien Singh and read them in order, which I strongly suggest that you do as well, as the stories build on each other and the reader would be lost reading them out of order. These books are good, and Cox's writing style improves with each one, however, if you are not a fan of Star Trek, they won't be as enjoyable because much of the detail will not make sense, and the characters will be less understandible. Cox introduces characters from all of the television series from TOS to Enterprise, as well as from the first two movies, which a Trekkie will find interesting. My only real gripe about the books, until you get to the third one, is that the first and second book really don't spend enough time focusing on Kahn himself. I really would have liked to see more of that and less of the story as Cox wrote it, but as someone who is very familiar with Star Trek, it was entertaining For the price of these books on eBay, you really can't go wrong.
