Removes dirt particles from Rain Water storage - Taste is the same as fresh rain water.
We have rainwater storage so do not use town water for drinking. After heavy rain we do see some dirt particles so we used to strain it through muslin. Since purchasing this product it has more than sufficient filtering stages to completely remove this debris and there is no noticeable change to the taste of the water. It is easy to use as you only need to top it up regularly. It was quite a surprise to find how much water you drink in a day which has to be a good thing. It is quite large but with its colouring it does not look out of place on the kitchen bench. Much cheaper that installing in-line filters. The filter unit is easy to assemble and use and produces good quality filtered water however the down sides include that the tap is flimsy plus the plastic body of the unit is rather thin therefore the top tank distorts when water is added making it difficult to replace the lid that is also made from thin plastic.
