I bought this item at the listed price, the seller then canceled a few days later without shipping it saying that their inventory was wrong and that they no longer have it. The seller lied, he has it relisted at a higher price in his shop right now. Avoid this seller at all costs, they are dishonest and will lie right to your face about the items they offer. I attached a pic of his message as proof.

    Akai EWI USB

    I wanted to use this instrument to play in live situations but we found out it is not well suited for that type of application, It is best as a standalone studio or practice tool. The Internal sounds are good and it plays well enough but cannot work as a controller to connect to a midi sound module. The user interfaces are not designed well enough to make changes quickly on-the-fly. This model did not work for my application so I returned it for a refund,

    A Great MIDI controller.

    It's an outstanding MIDI controller when you need the specific nuances of a wind instrument (it's also great with strings emulations). It is easy for beginners to learn how to play and doesn't require embouchure tricks like standard woodwinds.
