eBay sellers don't come better than this! Went WAY OUT OF HIS WAY to help me get what I wanted at an affordable price, then kindly offered compensation for the slowness of the US postal system (not his fault a TRACKED package wandered all over the globe on its way from Indiana to California - by way of Hawaii then Pennsylvania!). A seller generous with his time, his effort, his care, and his attention. I will always choose him over all other sellers for the same item, and so should you!

This lens could pass for new: the glass is perfect, and I can't find any blemishes on the lens barrel. It came in the original packaging and with the fabric lens pouch. The price was one of the better ones on Ebay. Everything was packed into a heavy-duty outer box to prevent damage in shipping. I took a couple of quick pics to verify that it works properly, and it does. I'm very pleased with the transaction.

    An excellent dvd.

Sam is a excellent actor, & he tries to show a true historical account of what went on in the 1880s. Their was no law & you had to be ready to defend, you & your family all the time. Cheers. Charles.

  • Great title, to bad the Gene Hackman-Sharon Stone movie used the same name

  • Another great Sam Elliott movie

I had not seen or heard of this before...watched it out of curiosity, mainly because of Q&D made later. I love Sam Elliott & this movie is SO much better than the other one. All of the characters in this movie were entertaining as well. Tom Conti & Kate Capshaw were believable & held there own. Elliott showed more depth in his character than you normally see in a part. Rough but gentle...all I can say is MORE ELLIOTT. Why haven't we seen more of him?

  • A Great Western

The Quick And The Dead followed Louis L'amour's novel, of the same name, fairly closely. It has all the elements of a great western There is the hero, the villains, good winning out over bad, the love interest, and the cowboy riding away. The cast was excellent, the directing was top notch, and the story held my interest to the end.

  • Medium hard-core western with a tangible plot

Sam Elliott cuts a wide swathe in this oater where he becomes romantically infatuated with another man's wife (Kate Capshaw). . . . Can't say as I blame him. Ms Capshaw is more than alluring and yet still emulates an aire of vulnerability that makes red-blooded men want to walk a mile in Elliott's boots. If you like your westerns replete with fearless hero-types who shoot first and ask questions later, try this one on for size. Thoroughly enjoyable flick. They don't make 'em like that any more. Surprise ending, BTW.
