This VCR may not work right with just any TV
Bought it to replace an older Mitsubishi that was failing. I found the composite video/audio output was indicating 'mode not supported' on my fairly recently purchased VIZIO TV. I ended up having to hook it up to the antenna RF mode on my TV to get it to function correctly. So far, I have not found a solution to that problem. I needed the original remote control, which the seller had provided, to get the antenna RF mode to function correctly. All I can say is that the buyer beware of using this VCR with just any TV.Verified purchase: Yes
