Genuine Fender American Standard Chrome String Guides

These Chrome String Guides are Definitely a Cool Addition to just about Any Model Fender Stratocaster or Telecaster. They have a nice Sleek look that is Subtle, Yet Eye Catching. Only takes a few minutes to install, and adjust, Even for an Amateur I will enjoy seeing a Set of these on Every Fender Stratocaster in My Collection. For just a few dollars, You won't be able to take your Eyes off of em, lol... I Highly Recommend these Chrome String Guides for any Guitar Enthusiast to Upgrade the appearance of their Instrument. Simple but Effective -JV Fur'tl*i'zer

    Not what I expected

These parts say that they are for an American STANDARD, Special and Deluxe Fender Stratocaster. But these parts are cheap and not of the same quality that real American Standard, etc., made parts are. I honestly think that someone may committing fraud here. If these are genuine Fender Parts then the Fender brand has gone into the crapper and I will not buy anything new from FMIC ever. Buyer beware.

  • Look great on custom Strats

These string trees don't pull down as far as the stock trees, so it's not as sharp an angle off the nut. I put two on my custom built strats because of the pull of the whammy bar. Even put two on the tele for looks, black & chrome. These also make string changes easier than vintage trees. Priced right and good looking.

  • Genuine Fender Parts

These are genuine Fender roller string trees. Smaller and less obtrusive than some of the others on the market. Keep in mind these have a small pin on the base and will need a very small hole drilled to fit flush if you guitar doesn't already have the hole. They look good and do the job well.

  • Upgrade your MIM

In my opinion they look better and function better than the vintage "butterfly" style string tree that comes on most MIM Strats. FYI****** These have a nub on the back of them to keep them from spinning once mounted. Some people just remove the nub with a dremel...I found it easier to just use a properly sized drill bit, to add a little detent in the headstock for the nub to sit in, and it worked just fine.
