12mm T2.2 Ultra Wide Angle Cine Lens New with De-clicked Apertures for Fuji X!! Made just for mirror less cameras is the new Rokinon 12mm T2.2 NCS CS Ultra Wide Angle Cine Lens. Its 35mm focal length equivalency for Fuji X Cameras is 18mm. With a T2.2 maximum aperture, it is particularly effective in low-light capture and can control shallow depth of field for precise subject focus with pleasing out-of-focus backgrounds. It offers a minimum focus distance of 7.9" and its front filter thread accepts 67mm size filters. The lens's impressive optical construction consists of three Extra-low Dispersion elements, one aspherical, and one hybrid aspherical element. The nano-crystal coating is applied to the inner surface of the two front-most lens elements to minimize ghosting and flare and improve overall image clarity.

I ask a lot of this lens, and it rises to the occasion!
I own a Lumix G7 MFT camera that I use mainly for film/video purposes. Most times I am filming dancers. That being the case, I am often outdoors or indoors in a club type atmosphere filming. My filming conditions are unpredictable and never perfect. I've used Rokinon lenses before on Canons and was not disappointed. The 12mm Cine lives up to the Rokinon name is quality of construction and image. For the price, it just CANNOT be beat. Would I like more sharpness at the edges? Sure! But considering the price point of this lens, it performs much better than the price would suggest. If you're looking for a great wide angle cine lens and are on a tight budget, go with this all around great lens!
