Great show, great DVD box set
Great show, great DVD box set. What can I say that has not already been said? Worth a watch just so you can get a slight idea of what Allied troops had to suffer so I could write this review 70+ years later. It may be that they are the last generation willing to sacrifice themselves for everyone's freedom not just their own. If today's "society" is ever tested in a similar way I fear they will not be as willing to do what is needed.

If you have an interest in the final days of WW 2, then Band of Brothers is a must watch.
Tells a true story of the US Airborne from D Day to the final chapter. Some interesting characters highlighted in the very realistic film, as well as the personal battles probably more so being a US based almost Documentary. Well worth viewing .

Missed this series when it was first shown,so after a knee op I thought it would be a good idea to catch up ( binge) on missed box sets and I really enjoyed it, great all round production,acting and liked he way you got to hear from the soldiers themselves years later, would really recommend the box set.
