Anyone wishing to be given an authentic insight into the mythology behind the political anatomy of the State of Israel should read this book. The narrative is fluent and compelling BUT thoroughly tendentious; the author merely reiterates some hardy historical misconceptions about the people of Israel and their Gentile neighbours, the fact is that no-one can be said to have an authentic view of the circumstances of the creation of the State of Israel until the Catalogue of the State Papers relating to Palestine has been published.
