    Very happy with purchase and delivery. Certain Yes albums still difficult to get in UK without paying a premium so I look for premium condition in used vinyl. This was exactly as described - cover and discs in excellent condition. Packaging could have been a little more robust but I will definitely add the seller to favourites. Many thanks.

    No nonsense printer

    Printer arrived well packaged and secure. Set up was straightforward with latest driver downloaded from the manufacturer's website - this was needed because the Mac operating system had moved on since the disc that accompanied the printer was produced. Operation was simple with print quality good and speed excellent. It operates as expected with acceptable noise levels given the very good price. One thing - no USB cable was provided, which needed to be purchased separately- remember to get one long enough - my set up required a length of at least 2m.

    Disappointed about this product

    This printer comes with NO printer cable which is the usb A to B version. The setup instructions does not even mention this, so it must be the manufacturer that made this decision to not include it. I am disappointed that this was not made clear in the setup and installation instructions.

    Good value for money

    I bought this printer as a replacement for a 4-year-old Samsung of similar design. It conveniently has virtually the same footprint and is just as fast and easy to use. However, it seems more flimsily made and is noisier than the Samsung. Also the print quality is not as crisp as I have been used to, so I would say 'good' but certainly not brilliant in this respect. However, it 'does what it says on the tin', and so far I have no complaints from a very economically priced product with the 'Brother' pedigree.

    Compact, speedy home printer

    Fast quiet printing. Realy sharp text which is what I wanted the printer for. With the paper trays etc folded in it's not much larger than an inkjet. Build is a bit "plasticey" but it should be fine for home use. Set up easily for me on Linux using the "brlaser" drivers.

    compact

    I bought this printer as I rarely need to print items and when I do need to normally the ink on a ink jet printer has dried out. This brother hl-1112 is a laser printer and uses toner so hopefully this will solve this problem. I only print documents so black and white printing is all I need. The actual printer itself is compact so can be packed out of the way when not in use. The quality of the printing is good and it prints very fast, it was very easy to install and very easy to operate. Would I recommend it ?...its a matter of choice really, if you want a basic printer with no frills that simply prints then YES...if you want to be printing pictures and using colours then NO this is not the machine for you.
