    Jimi Grooves in Bold

    From the opening alien talk & space riffs, Bold as Love shows how Hendrix was transitioning from power rocker to Electric Storyteller. From the funk of 6 was 9 to the ballads Castles Made of Sand and Little Wing, Hendrix shows us he was not only guitar hero but a melodic singer-songwriter as well. Bold presages Electric Ladyland and imprints his prowess and creativeness on our psyche. Rock lost a legend who makes us wonder what would have come had he had time to make more music for our listening pleasure
