    Works Well, But Comcast hates it

    I'm glad I don't have to pay for Comcast's crappy DVR, but there are compromises. FCC regs require comcast to let you use your own device, but they don't have to let it work -well-. All of the basic features work fine, but Comcast OnDemand, and other similar features are broken. Not Tivo's fault, and their products and support are excellent.

    Quality product and great pricing!

    Now that Bolt is available, there are no more modestly priced Tivo options! I had a Roamio OTA retail priced at $50 that died after 1 year of use (and another that is currently sounding funky -- hard drive is probably going down on that one, too!). Low and behold.... nothing under $300 at tivo any longer! What about us po'folk? Well, thanks to Ebay, Premiere is still around! Thank the Lord! Hoping it lasts as long as my other Premiere!

    Great device, even years after release.

    Bought NIB for less than $100 about 5 years after the model was released. Not sure when it was manufactured, but it's perfect for my needs. This was an upgrade from a Series 2 that I'd been nursing along until our cable co. switched us to HD-only signal, which was no longer compatible. Didn't want to pay a lot at the time, so went looking on eBay and found this unit. All the Tivo goodness I expected, plus HD, Netflix and other net streaming services. Only 75hrs of HD recording space, but so far haven't exceeded 35%, so all good there. Definitely worth the price I paid.

    BRAND NEW - But 10 years old
