    Great tool, this is the real deal!

    I have a pair of Whites Rancher boots that I absolutely love but they were just too narrow and hurt my feet. I was able to stretch them out a little by using various round objects, but not quite where I needed. I was going to buy a set of the cheap stretchers but was scared off by all the reviews of them breaking right away and the leather in these boots is so thick I didn’t think they would work. So I opted for this stretcher and I’m so glad I did. I hated to spend this much money for a stretcher, but the quality of this tool was worth every penny. I,m a tool collector and this a very well made tool. The spot stretching plugs are even metal instead of plastic. My only complaints are that the.plugs fit loosely and needed a small piece of tape on the shaft to keep in place. Also, the ...

    It did work!

    The product seems to be a good quality. The only concern I have, is the way in which the mechanism spreads the wood foot form apart. There’s a lot of grinding metal against metal. Maybe overtime that will smooth out. Other than that, it did what I needed it to do, which was to make it wider, so that my foot could fit more comfortably in the shoe.
