Im Zentrum der Stunde stehen verschiedene Bewertungen der Eroberung Jerusalems durch die Kreuzfahrer 1099: neben zeitgenoessischen Darstellungen aus christlicher und muslimischer Perspektive wird eine mittelalterliche Darstellung, eine Darstellung in einem nationalsozialistischen Schulbuch, einem DDR-Schulbuch sowie die Darstellung in heutiger Zeit in arbeitsteiliger Gruppenarbeit erarbeitet. In dieser Unterrichtsstunde sollen die SuS anhand des Vergleichs verschiedener Quellen und Bewertungen zu einem Ereignis den Konstruktionscharakter historischer Beschreibung erkennen. Sie kann nur die Vergangenheit ausgehend von Fragestellung der Gegenwart kontrolliert untersuchen und moeglichst plausibel deuten, da sich die Deutungen der Vergangenheit standig im Horizont der jeweiligen Gegenwart andern. Exemplarisch soll diese Kompetenz an der Darstellung der Eroberung Jerusalems 1099 ausgebildet werden. Sie ist also kompetenzorientiert und nach neuesten fachdidaktischen Standards konzipiert. Die Materialfulle bietet Stoff fur eine Doppelstunde und musste fur eine Einzelstunde ggf. gekurzt werden. Neben einem Einstieg in das Stundenthema sind Arbeitsblatter mit den Quellen sowie ein Arbeitsblatt zur Ergebnissicherung inkl. Loesungen enthalten.
