The three-album output was especially remarkable for the Faces, as the band was more known for skirt-chasing and carousing than recording music. NOD found the Faces fusing together a grittier blues and soul sound than on past efforts, which were marked by a rather modish sound and Stewart's then-folkier leanings.

The album became their most successful album, partly because of the solo success of lead singer Rod Stewart. It features their single hit 'Stay with Me' and it is a consistent and creative album. The Rod Stewart/Ron Wood compositions are strong and their finest hour is definitely one of a name. The blues-tinged rock music with some honky tonk piano tunes and fine psychedelic edges. They were one of the best party bands of their time, with raucous and sloppy live shows. They are showing this in the energy of the songs.

I Like This Record
Been looking for this album on vinyl at a reasonable price for years. This was as good as I’ve seen and it sounds fantastic on 180 gram vinyl as a repress of the original. Very happy.
