    I won the original auction, paid immediately. There was a problem in shipping after he sent it out (battery symbol on the box) and claimed that he sent it back to get it going my way again. This was his only response to any of my DMs. Day or two later he refunded shipping cost to compensate me. Another day or two later he refunded the whole order and relisted the item, blocking me from bidding again. Never communicated after several attempts to reach out to him to figure out what happened.

    Handheld CB radio value!

    These older Radio Shack handheld CB radios are a tremendous value in today's market. They are tough and durable (for what they are), and are a great value when you can find one in good working order (like the one I purchased). When new, this type of equipment was considered to be of medium quality and durability. However, compared to much of what you find new on the market today, they are far superior. One complaint, if any, would be only in trying finding those that accept common AA batteries. You must remember that the batteries for the rechargeable varieties are getting older now, and their abilities to take and hold a charge are lessening. Those that use batteries are far more durable over time.
