    Better tech from the past

    The Onyko has the function buttons on the tuner and not just on the remote. Unlike the consumer gear made today. I didn't receive a remote and the Onyko is still perfectly operable. I love the colourful front panel with clearly labeled function controls. The reception is good & the am section is good for dxing. It's treated as more than a afterthought for once. I also have som higher end Onyko stereo separates with dark gray function lettering on a monolithic black background. At night its impossible to see which knob or button does what on these late 2017 components. Just 2 lights to let you know anything is on.. The lettering and minimal lighting are impossible to see. This Onyko tuner is easy to see & use day or night. The colourful display is informative & pleasing to look at. ...
