    Great value for money.

    Although it was obviously a refurbished and used unit which came unboxed, it had looked almost as good as new. The main shortcoming was that the operation manual was not included which would mean that anybody not familiar with this range of Samsung SmartCams would have a hard time setting it up. Also, the unit needed to have a hard reset (with a pin in the Reset hole) before being set up as it had been used before and the previous WiFi information was still in its memory. The phone or tablet app that would work with this model is SmartCam+ and not the older version of SmartCam. All in, a very good value for money buy if you can get it set up and working properly.

    Avoid at all costs

    Camera would never connect to any device, newer or older. It started to overheat about 10 minutes after it was plugged in. Horrible even with the price. The only good thing to come out of it was the micro USB cord. Just the cord. It did not even come with a power supply. Do yourself a favor and look for something else

    Good camera

    It actually 1080p transmit and 1080p record camera with customized trigger fields, unlike many competitors. Excellent video quality. Negatives : initial setup is problematic and wifi band hog. I have 5 cameras and can't use them simultaneously.

    Good camera for the money

    Slow to recover if power goes off and comes back on. Very finicky if WiFi is weak. I have 7 of them now so I’d say there worth it. Love the motion detection and video playback. Non of the cloud crap required!
