Product Information

Gamers control a robotic humanoid and soar through the sky to defend their kingdom from an ancient empire of machines in Rodea the Sky Soldier. The story takes place in Garuda, a kingdom made up of floating islands in the sky, where a young, mechanically inclined girl named Ion stumbles upon the titular robot and brings it back to life. Soon, the ancient, terrestrial Naga Empire also returns, and players must take to the skies to dispatch massive Naga automatons, solve puzzles, collect valuable mech pieces, and uncover the truth about Rodea's past.<br><br>This package includes the full Wii U game as well as the original Wii game and a reversible cover.

    Not my first Rodea

    Only played the Wii version but it seems like a good game so far (haven't beaten yet). Gameplay reminds me a little of Sonic combined with Mario 64 from the old days...The controls are very difficult to get use to and glitchy to say the least. Worth the $19.99 I paid but not more than that.

    overlooked gem

    this game is complete garbage... if you play the Wii U version. But the game is not half bad if you play the Wii version. so if you have a chance to play this game play ONLY the Wii version. If you have played the game but only played the Wii U version or the DS version and thought the game was garbage then give the original Wii version a chance.

    Wii Rodea Brand New. Rare and Fairly Priced

    A sealed copy of the original print run of Rodea the Sky Soldier for Wii U with the Wii edition included. It came as marketed and I'm honestly amazed. It was totally new and for a standard price. Despite being sold as the Wii U edition, the Wii version of this game is where the real value is. The Wii U edition of Rodea is a port of the clunky 3DS game. But the Wii version was the original version of the game that never had a standalone release. Definitely worth looking into if you like niche Wii games that build interesting mechanics around the motion controls that aren't just a waggle-fest. At such a standard price for the brand new copy with both versions, this is the ideal package for anyone interested in this game
