    Best of the Japan built recievers

    This receiver has old school power, with digital tuner. It gets very loud, yet very clean crisp sound. Playing the tuner is even louder. Great speaker wire inputs, with flip latch locking clamps; providing maximum contact. The Built in graphic equalizer is its most desirable feature, I change it for every song, making the desired sound for your taste.

    powers speakers in my office, tolerates low impedance of multiple speakers well

    I had one of these for years, and had it hooked to 7 speakers, 8 ohm each, in parallel, which isn't proper. It was in an office. Then it finally died, and I tried a couple of other receivers and the sound was distorted. Like I said, you're not supposed to run that many speakers in parallel. But this model works, so I bought a couple old ones off Ebay and I should be set for a long time, and the sound is fine. Apparently this model is forgiving of the low resistance, and we aren't playing it loud of course, just background.

    Great unit in like new condition

    I needed a receiver with a phono preamp input for my vintage turntable. This unit matches my existing equipment. The unit is preowned from the 1990's but it looks like new old stock. The power cord was still fastened with a very thin ty-wrap like the manufacturers use. Very pleased with this purchase from this supplier.
