Coraline is an action-adventure game meant to be easy to play for brave fans of nearly all ages, based on the spooky film by Henry Selick, adapted from the book by Neil Gaiman. From a third-person perspective, players guide the trouble-prone young Coraline as she broods her way through the boring old real world, and then through the warm, inviting, not-quite-right Other world as well. Button-eyed Other versions of her parents and neighbors have plenty of fantastical problems that need fixing, in the strange mirror reality she has found for herself. Players must interact with these characters, solve puzzles, and complete action challenges to help Coraline find her true home. The game's graphics are inspired by the stop-motion models used in the movie.

    Great for the right price

    Coraline the Game is the kind of Movie License title that feels very Aimless; the Gameplay is mostly walking around the 1 boring Location seen in the Movie. The fact it’s not a very compelling game may keep you from wanting to spend 70-100$ on it. But if you really like Coraline or like Collecting Games (specifically those based on Movies), there’s something of worth with picking the game up, for the right Price. Just exploring the intricate Set of Laika’s Stop-Motion feature is worth 70$ or so I spent on the game. Returning actors like Dakota Fanning & Keith David is also a Treat. Although they didn’t get the License to play the Music from the Movie in the Game & that’s pretty Lame. For the price I got the game at, I think it was worth it; but I have seen it go Higher & going over 100$ on ...

    My daughter loves the coraline movie , so we had to get the game and it’s as good as the movie for her. She’s 7 and would play this game non stop if I would let her. Awesome picture , fun game. Totally recommend!

    Works like a charm

    The game works like a charm. It freezes once in a while but it’s usually just for a minute or two, then the gameplay continues. And it doesn’t even skip! How cool is that
