Program Selector Does not work. When pressed it makes a loud bass noise. Pull the tape out and put it back and the tape plays fine again. Theres no way to go back to track one that I know of. Very clean unit. Just needs that special someone that knows how to work on these. Both channels were working. The sound was very good! Being sold as is for Repair. Challenging, but functional.. it did what it was supposed to do ..
So, I get it .. nobody really wants these. I only needed it because I was doing a fundraiser, raising money so I could print some vinyl, and a friend of mine said, “make me an 8-track and I’ll donate.” True story. It all worked out. It was hard to figure out how to make the machine behave, but I made it work. Thanks for that.
