This is a natural, extra long, extra tight cork. In my opinion this will give the wine a very long cellar life. If you use extra care and go slow when removing the cork, it will come out fine. Postage very quick, and well packed. Highly recommended (especially with a good steak or aged cheese).

They were correct about the corks so I had to strain the wine to remove the bits of cork. I did enjoy the wine but it did not taste like a 18 year old Shiraz.
