  • Amazing colors and inspiration

    I got 4 of these books at once and each is amazing. Lots of colors, ideas, and inspiration as each quilt is lovingly pictured from several angles, and some are made in multiple colorways. I love seeing simple traditional designs set on their heads with the saturated colors this team produces. Let the fabric do the work! Luckily I don't plan to make these exact quilts, as the instructions use TEMPLATES!!!! Obviously this team is about the color play and not the teaching, since templates are a bit of an anathema to modern quilters. Personally I'll redesign a quilt so it uses rotary cutting (and pre-cuts if possible) rather than spend time with templates. Also, once you have one or 2 of these books, they all start to look the same. Sometimes they remake the quilts from one book with new ...
