Excellent pump

Piece of junk.
I bought this unit to replace my 60l per minute unit which after 10 years broke down. After sending me a broken unit and needing to send it back and wait for them to inspect it then send another (took 2 weeks) they sent me another with a broken handle. They are sending out another handle but it was very low quality plastic and the unit was still usable so whatever i set it up, Being a 120l per minute and hooked up to exactly the same system my 60l per minute was on i would guess my pressure should have increased quite a bit. It didn't. While i dont expect 120l per minute i expected an improvement which there wasn't. This is a piece of junk and i wouldn't recommend having any sort of reliance on this unit. Ill be impressed if it lasts 6 months. Ill use this until it breaks and be ... I bought this unit to replace my 60l per minute unit which after 10 years broke down. Quiet and powerful
I have used similar pumps but none come close to the performance, quietness and quality of construction as this powerful and beautifully made pump. Having been involved in the irrigation industry on and off for well over 30 years; this would rate as probably the best value pump capable of being plugged into a 10 Amp socket I have ever seen. I would have preferred a 1 1/4" (32mm) suction port and also a larger priming port, but perhaps I am a little old-fashioned. Using this pump to automate watering systems from a spearpoint (or screened suction), the extra suction head reduces the pump's efficiency and yet it still manages around 2,500L/hr at good pressure which is still top of the range!I have used similar pumps but none come close to the performance, quietness and quality of construction as this powerful and beautifully made pump. A good value workable pump for any farm or small property use.
Pros : Works well and silently. Pressure good lifting water approx. 3 m to pump and then approx. 8 metre to highest tap and again with good pressure. Took me a few goes to get all the joints sealed and not be losing water or pressure. An instruction to use a thread sealant would be a good point.
