    Excellent entertainment for entire family...

Fairly realistic fantasy sci-fi series made in the mid-1960s... I was a child then, but remember the theme song and opening very well. Good lead characters as well as supporting… Lots of good stories although a few are very Irwin Allen (A little over the top. LOL). Imaginative and intriguing most of the time. Enjoy!

  • Voyage to the bottom of the sea

Very entertaining show love the special effects on the submarine and the black-and-white makes it even better very nostalgic takes you back to a different era. Love the actors David Harrison and Richard Basehart perfect for the role.

  • GREAT TV SERIES TO SEE AGAIN

So nice to see this TV series that I used to watch as a kid with my dad. Thank you for the nostalgia. Great series and so well done for the 60s

  • One of My Favorite 60s TV Shows!

"Voyage" was a fun show to watch while I was growing up. This and "The Wild, Wild West" were my two favorites. These DVD sets are almost impossible to find in region 1 format. This "used" set is in near perfect condition. Excellent picture quality and the DVDs look brand new. Great buy!

  • Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea- Vol 1

If you miss the TV you grew up with then this is for you. They just don't make shows like this anymore, especially since the Master of Disaster, Irwin Allen is no longer amoung us. It gives a different perspective on the world at that time, during the Cold War era. It's fun and entertaining and never vulgar. The only thing that might offend some viewers is Richard Baseheart's occasional cigarette smoking and perhaps the relative predicatability of the fact that Only the new crewmembers don't often make it out of the episode alive. This is much like the only the security guys in red on Star Trek don't survive syndrome that was used by Gene later in that series. I do still hope that someday there will be a submarine like the Seaview and that it will be used for more ...
