    OEM and easy to install.

    Original cord that was on the iron started to spark. Turns out that the white plastic thingy that grips the cord cut through the insulation. This includes the thingy, so I rounded the edge so that would not happen on this one, or at least prolong its use.

    Saved me from having to replace an iron that stopped heating

    I changed the cord and heating element in 10 minutes with no previous experience. The odd only 1 screw to remove and then unsnap the plastic base. Remove the old and replace with the new. I had purchased another $80 iron to replace this one but luckily i waited to set id this would work before using the new iron. For $25 i saved myself from the cost of a new iron.
