      The vein finder light helps when needing to locate a vein. Tip: use better quality batteries! Helps tremendously with good batteries. Don't apply much pressure either because it doesn't help the veins stand out.

      Great concept, but does not work.

      I bought this Illumivein to see if I could see where my veins were because I was going to have surgery, & my veins are deep, & hard to find. I was excited when it came. I opened it up, showed the red light on my arms, and squinted to find my veins. I didn't see any difference other than the red knight shining on my skin. Very disappointed. I did not send it back, as I thought maybe it would work on someone else. When I had the surgery, the hospital had a similar gadget; cost much more, & the nurse wore it on her head. She still found it hard to find my veins. I was glad I had not chosen a more expensive version.

      Not strong enough .

      For the Money I I guess it’s ok , it just didn’t do much for me. If it was stronger it would’ve been great. I used the best batteries I could buy, and it still only found the very most surface veins I guess you get what you pay for

      Meh. I really tried to give this a good chance, but it doesn't work very well, at least for me it didn't. Of course it is the cheapest thing going, and you always get what you paid for, regardless what you paid for it... It might work better for someone else...

      Due to my personal case being complicated, you might get better results.

      I was going to rate lower, but giving a benefit of a doubt since my veins are extremely difficult to find. Getting blood work done takes 20 minutes for a professional, after which I end up with multiple wounds and an arm looking like of someone with 20 years long heroin habit. It these a bit of practice. At first I thought it was completely useless. Then eventually after learning a bit, even I still managed to see some veins where I never knew they were. When successful at pointing, pressure, angle and so on, they really do absorb the light and show as black lines on red background. Will experiment more, including looking through different digital cameras (different sensors) hoping to see more in the infra red part of the spectra of emitted light (digital cameras see below the minimum ...
