I have some nice mb quart 5" mids and tweeters , I wanted to see if I put a descent coaxial in there and still run the passive crossover how it would sound , I went to the 6.5 RX , it sounded great I was able to move my amplifiers electric crossover down to 100 hertz and get the increased highs since now running extra tweeters . I bet I would have to spend 200$ or more to get better sound so these are a great value :) I was looking at the alpine SPS 6.5" . I use two tens w/400 watts for the sub and they do all the work . If you have the stock radio w/stock speakers these may not give you more bass . More bass is from a external subwoofer and amplifier , but when you get that combination and a amplifier for these speakers it will sound GREAT !!! bottom line you cant go wrong , probably the smartest $25 I ever spent !!!! one thing I noticed I heard different instruments in my popular songs I didn't hear before :)Read full review

Speakers sound great. Will not handle the power they are rated for tho. They sound excellent until they have been turned up a few times. Then very crackly at low volumes. If your not running ALOT of power to them they are great.

The speakers are great for the buck. They got a good clear sound and can handle high volume without distortion. I was searching for more bass but these didn't really give what I was expecting. I would recommend the rx6.2 if your looking for a upgrade from stick speakers but if your wanting bass then these doesn't provide good deep response. They do got bass but not much different from stock. Currently I have 50wattsx4 mosfet and I have boom mats and have the speaker wire adapter to plug in instead of splicing wire. I also had to do a lot of trimming to fit this in brackets for my truck there very bulky. I had kenwood and no trimming needed. If I didn't do so much trimming I'd go back to kenwoods

Picked up a pair of these Renegade speakers for under $25 bucks. I have them hooked up to a 100 watt 2 channel motorcycle stereo. The sound quality is great. They have good sound all around and a little bass too. Renegade is a branch of Rockford Fosgate and the quality is definitely there. A great buy for the price.
