    Smooth and fits my hand

    The Shub GS-1 is my third slide I bought for my new Duesenberg lap steel. I finally found the one that is easy to hold and hit single notes or full chords without moving in my hand. It makes it easier to deaden strings behind it for a rich full sound. For me it seems to work better than anything I've tried.

    Lightweight and easy to handle

    This slide bar works great for me. I'm over 60 years old and my left hand stays half numb most of the time. I have a problem holding on to an all steel slide bar because of the weight. This slide bar weighs less and the wood part seems to be flared out more to where I can keep hold of it better. I've had a dobro for two years and never learned anything on it because I couldn't hold on to the slide bar. Now with this slide bar I'm able to practice 2 to 3 hours each time I get it out. Thanks for a great product!

    Great features for beginners and people with dissabilties

    I had a stroke last year and had trouble holding my Steven slide so I tried this slide. It is much easier for me to hold and control with forward and reverse slides. Makes playing much easier and enjoyable.

    Great choice

    I am a woman, have smaller hands than a man. I have MS and can't chord a guitar. Have gone to dobro. This steel is warm to the touch, and I don't lose my grip on it.
