It is not quite the same as it was in the 70's. I still have some from then and it smells just as great now as it did then. This latest scent is deliciously flowery, and unique, light but lingering and not overwhelming. I loved it then and I love it now and am so incredibly happy to find it still available. It brought back floods of happy memories and is so cheap. Only thing is that the one I've got is a chub stoppered bottle, my Emma too, not a spray. I dislike sprays. Also don't think the bottles need the flowers imprinted on the glass, less classy, but that's just my opinion. I'd loved to have been able to buy the otiginal bottle that was £108, but sadly I couldn't afford it.

My wife was most impressed with this as there are no Laura Ashley stores near by .
