Perfect replacement for a precious old touch lamp that WAS going to get tossed in the trash. Googled repair tips and learned that most of these lamps fail because this little circuit box wears out. Make sure to watch how it gets wired, I did it 1 wire at a time to make sure nothing got crossed or assembled wrong - learned that the hard way on other small appliance repairs! Reattaching new wires together was a bit tricky (use the screw type wire connector caps) but now the lamp is good as new!
