Probably, this is what you're looking for

Having used diffirent snare drums (pearl chad smith signature, tama superstar, etc.), I was pretty surprised by this one. Very flexible yet easy to tune, its tone is what I was looking for. It sound a bit dry but not dead, very perceptive dynamically and powerful. I tried diffirent tunings and ceased choosing on pretty high one, and drum keeps being very deep. Indeed, it's rimshots are powerful, but probably this is special about this drum. Playing weird combination of some shoegazinglack metal stuff and combining it with some funkyprog rythms, this drum suits me well, and I can't imagine to use any other drum right now. Also, if you're looking for a good deal, I have to say, that 'used, but in mint condition' meant 'absolutely new' to me. I wish every drum was so satisfying as this one. ...

  • Great Snare in Mint Condition

I have been looking for this snare for a while. This add had a lot of great, up close photos which made my decision easy. The drum was everything it was advertised to be. After a little tlc cleaning of finger prints/ smudges, I agree it is MINT. This one is a keeper for me and I am sure my grandson's will enjoy it too one day. Great Snare Very Fair Price.

  • Must have

I have been told time and time again that this drum belongs in every drummer's arsenal. Ok I purchased this "used" drum from Cascio and in reality it is 100% pristine. Not used, but new. I can't find any flaws. I love the versatility and unique voice that this Supra offers and gravitate towards it vs. 13 other snares that I can use. While it's not better than some of the other quality snares, it is uniquely different. Pleasant tone and tune able through a wide range. If Cascio continues to make this drum available don't hesitate. There is no better value out there. You can spend $800 on a boutique high end drum, but there is no reason to do so if you can grab this one at $409. PS. the new P85AC strainer is light years ahead of the old P85. It has a truss arm that makes it ...

  • One of the best damn snare drums ever!

I have around 25 snare drums in every material possible--different woods, steel, brass, aluminum--and this one meets all the criteria. An aluminum alloy, it's lighter than steel or brass, but it's loud when I want it, crisp and rings with sharp rim shots. It's the most recorded snare drum in Rock and Roll history and was made famous in this size as the snare favored by John Bonham in Led Zeppelin.

  • Perhaps the most recorded and iconic snare that’s ever been!

Amazing drum. I’ve had experience with the instrument for many years. This is my fifth 402, overall, but the first time I’ve had two at the same time. The other one is “AVH’ed.” Incredible tone and presence. If there was only one snare I could own, it would be a 402. :-)
