Search and searched for a low cost, good unit to replace the $6 month lease fee that Time Warner increased for their modem fees… Wanted one that did both the Wireless and the Modem… Although I read some reviews that the wireless on this model didn't work well, I have not found that at all. I just did the turning off of the the "IP Flood detection" as so many recommended and voila! Works great… (Also be sure to set your channel to one that is not in your reception as well) Good Luck!
This is a nice 2 in 1: cable modem (Docsis 2.0) and wireless router. The installation was easy. It works well. It does not have a phone jack to put in your phone line if your phone service is through your cable company. I didn't need this feature so it didn't matter to me.
Bought used and have had it almost 2 yrs, no problems...can get good signal all over the house. I have up to five devices at a time running off it and never a problem.

Modem works great. Saves me the rental expense from Comcast and this is a way better modem then you would receive from them. Worth purchasing if your Cable company charges you for a modem monthly.
