For Makita fans, this is a must have!
Took this on a camping trip with some other Makita tools/accessories and a few extra batteries. I never needed the extra batteries because this thing lasts forever on a single 5mAh battery. It was used at a low volume for 4 days of use, probably 7-8 hours a day. Excellent value if you already have extra Makita batteries!

Poor quality sound
I like the fact that I can put in my drill batteries and play music all day on the jobsite. But it has to be very close to you cause not very load and poor quality sound. There's a lot of portable speakers out there for around the same price, but sound a whole lot better. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Makita blue tooth speaker
I had 2 of the Milwaukee m12 Bluetooth speakers and they both went bad after about 5 uses. I then went and bought the Makita Bluetooth speaker and it blew away the Milwaukee m12 Bluetooth speakers. It lasts a long time and it didn't break down on me yet. I use a genuine Makita 6 AH battery and it lasts about 3 full 8 hour days of work. I tried using the aftermarket China batteries and they don't fit. The housing for the batteries are too large so you can't close the latch to lock the battery compartment. It's pretty loud for a speaker this size but I wish they made a larger version with a bigger size subwoofer maybe about 8".
