Sir Ian MacKellen is equally convincing in a small part as a closeted gay man. This 104 minute gay, transvestite, and transsexual men WWII holocaust film is the best (non)documentary portrayal of historical WWII facts, that I have experienced. Ian McKellen's use of the word "Fluffs" for gay men is amusing & probably historical of the language used in early 1930's Berlin, where GLBT life once flourished before Hitler (also see Liza Minnelli & Joel Grey in "Cabaret" for a similar theme). • Awesome movie and a great value for the money.

Bent is a drama concerning the Germans and their concentration camps. Not only the treatment of the Jews but also Gays as well. Very powerful movie. I am really glad to have it in my collection. I watched it the very day I got it. I really enjoyed it and I am sure you will too.
