Although the bracket bolted up, I needed to custom cut and bend it to work with my OEM Harley seat for a 2003 Fatboy with attached rider seat. Was a tight fit for the bracket. The bolts underneath my seat were not long enough so I changed to longer studs with nuts. It works!

I already had the “docking” bolts (WHICH YOU NEED) installed from a previous back rest, and this thing lined up, and snapped on perfectly. Very nice, thick cushion, solid frame, and the fitment make this 140$ component amazing! Seller is great with communication, they verified I had the docking bolts prior shipping. The backrest itself is of good quality and worth the price you’ll pay. I returned mine, but the service and refund was quick, easy, and kind all along the way.
