I have only tried this on but haven t actually ridden with it on yet. But my first fit impression is that this will be an excellent sun protection layer, a bit more shoulder and upper back protection rather than just a thin summer jersey, I tried it on with my jersey worn over the top of the bolero, (the other way around to the photos) and it seemed fine, it did not hinder the jersey fit.
