Professional dog walker-level quality dog barrier
This is a good quality dog barrier. It is made up primarily of a fairly heavy gauge mesh with a couple of heavy duty adjustable feet and the rubber vibration silencers are also of good quality. It is very easy to setup but does require some cable ties to secure to the headrest mounts, as others have recommended. With these in place we're able to secure 6 dogs in the dog walking vehicle. Dog barrier for automotive transport.
Unless you have a bench seat and still probably wouldn't work. Doesn't go all the way to the floor. Tightened it up anyway and was going to try to put something across the bottom but while driving it fell backwards. If you need a barrier you are better off to just build one. A need answered.
Our dog is in training to become a service dog. She feels that she is supposed to be in the front seat of the truck. Nothing we tried before this was effective at barring her from distracting the driver and/or passenger by licking and panting in the ears. This barrier is definitely making it more pleasant to drive the truck. I only wish that there were better/wider rubber feet on top and bottom so that the barrier would be less likely to slide if an animal bumps the device.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Hard to put together
I was able to get this installed in my car but with many manipulations and ZIP TIES. These are your friend when installing this thing if it doesn't exactly fit. I finally managed to get it installed into my 2017 Subaru Forester With a manual lift gate. My pit mix stayed in the back and was not able to push past it. Fit like a glove.
I purchased this pet barrier to go into my Toyota FJ Cruiser. I have 2 huskys that love to go riding but the girl even after 8 years still likes to devour and rip things up. This pet carrier can be adjusted to keep my upholstered seats out of harms way. Instructions for assembly was very good but I was worried about how it would fit and how well it would keep the girl husky from reaching through any openings to chew on my back seats. Alittle small for my VAN
It fits in my van but the lower half did not cover all of the back of my van and my puppy was able to go under it and come up front. Not quality doesn’t work.
