    Sold as a genuine part but didn’t come out in a genuine bag or wrapper. The seller said they use other packaging to save recycling. When you buy a genuine product for a Yamaha and it comes in a starter motor box for a car it starts to already ring alarm bells. Also when there are no part numbers on the product this is also a concern. I tried to reach out to the seller and they basically told me if I don’t like it send it back…won’t be buying anything from them again 😡

    The part is not supplied in a Yamaha box from Yamaha , it just comes in a bag. We reuse as much packaging as possible, hence the box. The part does not have the part number set into the casting, none of them do. Not much I can do about that, sorry. The part was new and fit perfectly. When you said you were not happy I emailed you through Ebay and offered a full refund, no drama no fuss, full refund, you chose to keep the part. Ceri
