    Very good swash buckling

    The Pirates of the Caribbean are a good romp through high seas. I decided to collect the lot, Ebay invaluable here. Dead Men Tell No Tales is no.5, the last of the saga (so far. I believe another really is coming.) I'm a big fan of film costume, fight and sword choreography, and set design These guys do it properly. They even built their own tall ships. Mustn't forget the make up and hair artists all 80 of them. Sadly Keith Richards was touring so couldn't be Jack's Dad (Capt Teague in nos. 3 and 4). Jack's uncle makes an appearance in this one instead, spot the muso. But when you know that Richards was Depp's template for Jack's demeanour, it adds another level of delight. Highly recommended if you need some swashbuckle in your life.

    matinee humour

    The usual cast slipped back into their characters as if they had just finished the filming the previous film and a week later were doing the last one. It was an epic swash buckling comedic Saturday matinee type movie that brought an end to the story line. I do not know what anyone else thought of it, Critics may nitpick but I liked it.

    Another rolicking tale

    I thought it may be a bit of a let down, but in many ways, I found it more entertaining than the ones before it. The story line tied in well with previous episodes and a little more humour was thrown in. All in all, for a sequel, it was above average i thought.
