I tested the couplers on a car to check high and low pressure and worked very well. Came with a few nicks and scratches on knobs, but not a big deal on a service part such as this. Seem to be well constructed and the price is right if you have a set of gauges with std. 1/4" hose and just need couplers to connect.

I purchased these couplers to replace couplers from a Harbor Freight Kit which would not work with the existing R12 to R134a adaptors on the car, or some new ones I had. These new couplers work easily on both the existing and the new couplers. Just one negative comment: The description said the couplers had eight (8) balls. This not correct. The LOW side has five (5) balls and the HIGH side has six (6) balls.
