Very easy to program both units, just press the purple button on your opener then hold down the button on the remote until the light blinks. Very clear instructions. Does not work from that far away or without a clear line of sight, I have to remove remote from visor and hold in middle of windshield or its signal won't go through the door to the opener. Not a very strong signal. For the price this will work though.

Seller was fantastic - filled & shipped very quickly! For security, we removed our old garage remote from the car, and purchased this keychain remote. Love the sliding door on this remote, as it prevents pushing the button accidentally. At first we thought we were having an issue with this keychain remote - it would open the garage door, but not close it. I figured out an odd quirk - we had recently replaced our overhead garage door light bulbs with LED. When the garage door was open, the LED bulbs were on, and were causing radio interference! So the keychain remote did not work with the garage door open. I switched back to CFL bulbs in the garage door opener, and everything works fine.
