Only For Very Occasional Use
This ashpan lasted us three weeks, and that wasn't using it every day. It's not deep enough to hold a satisfactory amount of ash, and the back started to burn away after 2 weeks. A third of the bottom was burnt away three weeks into use. We have a fire three times a week in winter. This ash pan might be good for someone who only has a fire once a month.
