But given it supposed to fit to a caravan, it will require your van to be fitted with an inverter as its mains power supply on the plug. I'm sure it's only to rotate the unit, well I hope it is. The power supply needs to be considered. Maybe they could make a 12v model?? I'm yet to try it.

The seller replied that they would review the matter within two days and on the Monday they organised to send me another unit.
