Dell 703 All in One printer
My HP 1310 "All in one" was not compatable with Windows Vista when I bought a new computer so I had to buy a new printer.(HP said they didn't have drivers to work with Vista!) This was a deal I couldn't pass up. A Dell "All in one" printer for less than $100.00! After it arrived, I was supprised to see how BIG this printer was. It is huge! 20" x 11 1/2" x 9" It works good but takes longer to print(than my old 1310 HP) after an order is given. The wireless feature is nice, the printer prints good color pictures, good B%W copies and is easy to set up. Its large size and slow speed warming up and starting to print is something to consider. DELL P703w , better than the reviews
Maybe I am just old , from the reviews , I expected an OK printer . that was capable but not stellar . It was easy to setup and found the network with NO problems . It seams well built and well thought out. It has as good photo print quality as drug store photos , and what we once called NLQ B&w printing . I like the low cost KODAK ink . I LIKE the wireless printing from My laptop.... I got tired of Emailing things to Myself and printing in the other room. It is an excellent printer for the money and more than capable . The foot print is slightly large but I see no problem here . cheap ink great prints ,scans ,what is there not to like at this price point? As to print speed , consider it the same as You do EPA mileage , I don't even own a stop watch . a few seconds more or less ... Great Printer
This is my second 703w printer I have purchased. I have owned the first one for about three months, and dearly love the way it prints. The printer is maybe to some, a little loud, but it is a machine. It does a wonderful job of normal printing tasks, and does a super job printing pictures. The printer has the Kodak Tech. in it, and uses the same ink that the Kodak printers use. The ink for this machine, and the Kodak printers, are the same. The ink cost less than most printers, and will print more copies, and the pictures are about as close to real life that one can get. Setup is pretty simple. I purchased the Dell 703w, because of the Dell realiabilty and service, and also because this printer has the Kodak system in it. Great printer for the price. Awful product wireless is a joke
I received this printer today and i am so disappointed i even ordered it!! I purcased it for the features it has, and WIRELESS capabilities. Right out of the box it proved a nightmare---and im a smart gal. I could not get it to connect to my wireless network, so i called customer support....i was on the phone 2hrs 44min....HEINOUS....then they thought it would be ok to charge me 69.99 to make it connect to my network. No thanks...if you can't get your product to work without charging me after being on the phone for nearly 3 hours you can have it back!!! Why is a printer so hard to connect when i have other electronics connected and never had a problem......Dell, you sent me an awful prodcut that you can expect to get back!I received this printer today and i am so disappointed i even ordered it!!
