the cd is very good saw Peter Grant on a cruise although he is now a lot older than when he recorded this cd and is a lot better singer,this cd is well worth buying.

An exceptional talent...... BUY IT NOW!!!!
Having seen Peter live at the Teenage Cancer Trust concert in August (and never having heard of him!), I knew I had to have his CDs. Peter is a bit like Michael Buble, but, for me anyway, his voice is richer and has more depth. This album contains two of my very favourite tracks: "Spooky" and "Walk Away". Both pop standards (having been recorded previously by Dusty Springfield and Matt Monroe respectively), but - as the album title implies - given a modern twist. Peter's group are amazing - both live and on CD - and I would not hesitate to recommend this album both to fans of smoky, late-night jazz, but also to fans of Michael Buble. Don't be fooled by the picture of Peter (which is the only bit I dislike!) - he has become a good-looking - wait, scrub that - GORGEOUS looking young man who ... If you are looking for something a little bit different for your CD collection, I cannot recommend this album highly enough. BUY IT NOW!!!!!

A Must Have CD for Crooning fans
I love this CD and would highly recommend it for anyone into the crooning genre. This young British artist, Peter Grant, has the vocal maturity and smoothness of many of the top crooners from the likes of Bing Crosby, Vic Damone and Bobby Darin to more modern artists like Michael Buble. I bought the CD for "You're the First, the Last, my Everything", but ended up enamored by most of the other tracks as well. I'm perplexed why downloads from this CD are not available in the U.S. -- I had to order it from the U.K. I would definitely buy more from this artist -- hopefully marketing efforts will catch up to the quality of the music!I love this CD and would highly recommend it for anyone into the crooning genre.
